Spring Clean up Slowed Down by Flood Waters

Live next to the Illinois River and it’s bound to happen.  For the 5th time in 9 years the Illinois river has backed up the water in Hooked on Fishing Park.  The River is cresting at 21.3 ft  Tuesday and will be falling back to minor flood stage over the next week.   Currently, 50% of the park is underwater including the roads and parking lots.  Our 2 ponds for fishing have become one and fish are moving freely about the park.  Fortunately we can keep the fish in the park and the river fish out.   We will be under the gun to get the park back in shape by May 3rd to officially open.  Please stay tuned for more on the park status and we will need all the help we can get to clean up the mess mother nature has provided us.
